Team permissions are only available in AssetMule Pro subscriptions.

Admins can edit the permissions of team members to enable and restrict them from having access to certain features and capabilities.

You can edit team permissions by taking the following steps.

Click on your image on the top right navigation to go to your account settings.

Go to the Team tab and click on/off the features you’d like team members to have access to.

Keeping these features on will give team members access to the following capabilities:

Assets: Team members will be able to create and edit their own assets.

Templates: Team members will be able to create and edit their own templates.

Themes: Team members will be able to create and edit their own themes.

Snippets: Team members will be able to create and edit their own snippets.

While every team has slightly different needs, here are some common permission settings we tend to see among our customers for various roles:

Product Marketers/Sales Enablement: Product Marketers and Sales Enablement Managers often have access to all capabilities as they’re generally responsible for enabling the sales team by creating templates and snippets, ensuring assets are on-brand using themes, and sometimes even creating assets on-behalf of the sales team.

Sales Reps: Sales reps often only have access to asset creation and editing capabilities. This allows them to create and personalize assets using the templates, themes, and snippets their Product Marketing and Sales Enablement teams have created for them, but not create their own templates, themes, and snippets.

Designers: Designers will often support the creation and editing of themes and snippets (particularly visual snippets like images, videos, and logos) to ensure they match brand guidelines, but they’re generally no longer needed for asset and template creation.
