You can level-up the design of your templates by replacing plain colored backgrounds of sections with background images.

Click the top icon on the right of the section.

This will open the Section Settings as a side panel on the right of the template.

At the bottom of the panel, you’ll see a toggle to Use Background Image. Click it to toggle it on.

Click Upload Image to select and add your chosen background image.

Once added, you can align the background image to the top, center, or bottom of the section.

Note: Background images have a 4.5 MB size limit. We automatically resize your image to fill the section background. This means that most horizontal images that are at least 1,000 pixels wide work well.

Pro tip: To optimize your image even more, we recommend 2:1 aspect ratio images for sections that are full height. If your section is much shorter than full height, a ratio of 5:1 or wider is likely to work better.
